Septic Tank Pumping

Septic tank maintenance includes pumping out accumulated wastes, typically every three to five years depending on tank size, the daily flow of wastewater into the tank, and household practices such as the amount of garbage entering the system from the kitchen sink. Failure to properly maintain a septic system may lead to the system backing up into house drains and eventually to failure of the septic system, necessitating expensive repairs.

Septic Tank Risers

Septic tanks typically have two openings in the top used to access the tanks for pumping, maintenance, and inspection. These opening may be covered with tank lids and buried. Access requires locating these openings and digging them out each time service is required. Modern installations usually have risers, which are corrugated pipes that extend from the underground tank openings to the ground surface, making access and maintenance easier. If your tank does not already have risers, we can install them.
